Why Audiology: Stuart has always been interested in sound perception. He took several audiology hearing science courses that encouraged him to pursue a career in audiology.
Why Audiology: Tanya wanted to work in healthcare and took in audiology, pharmacy and pre-med classes. She spent a summer job shadowing a local pharmacist and at Hearing Associates. Tanya was impressed with how passionate the team was about helping patients with hearing loss. As an audiologist, she can diagnose ear and hearing problems and improve patient hearing and communication abilities.
Why Audiology: Rachael has always liked working with kids and wanted to help children with hearing loss as a speech pathologist. However, after studying audiology, she realized she enjoyed the science of hearing and the technology of hearing aids and became an audiologist.
Why Audiology: Christine discovered audiology while studying speech-language pathology. After shadowing an audiologist during a clinical placement, she realized she had a strong passion for audiology. Afterward, she decided she would continue her education in audiology instead of speech-language pathology.

Bryce was raised in a home where he and his parents cared for many physically and intellectually disabled adults, some who had hearing loss. Bryce later fell in love with audiology while practicing social work and subsequently completed a doctorate in audiology.
Why Audiology: After teaching preschool for ten years, Carmen decided to follow her passion for helping others. Her interest in psychology inspired her to obtain her second degree and pursue a career in social work before making her way to Hearing Associates. She enjoys working with people of all ages and seeing how their lives are forever changed by hearing aids.
